About and credits

Follow a short workout of actor smiles, or pick any outline for free practice, and match it in your own camera view. The colored reading is an experimental visual comparison, not a judgment of your smile.

Camera frames stay on this device. This test version shares anonymous score timelines by default, during this beta with the face points behind them (never images); you can turn that off when you start or in Me, under Score sharing. Nothing else is uploaded unless you create or answer a challenge, match or duel, or sign in to sync your progress. Your photo, sharing choice and the photo credits are in Me; the info button over the camera shows its readings.

Camera frames and face readings stay in this browser session. Stop or backgrounding the page ends capture and clears comparison readings. This device stores your saved progress (the workout levels you have passed and each level's best result: passed or skipped, tracked time, retries, difficulty, hint level and scoring version), until you reset it or sign out of your account, your sharing, cue, guidance and language choices, which one-time hints you have seen, the email of the account you are signed into and, if you calibrate, the averaged calibration measurements, until you delete them; no similarity scores, images or face points are saved on it. Nothing is uploaded except score timelines while score sharing is on (on by default in this test version; during this beta with the face points of each tick, never an image), challenges, matches and duels you create, answer, join or play (in a duel, your hold meter and, if you allow it, your face outline are relayed to your opponent and never stored), this browser's push address and your notification choices if you turn notifications on, your language choice (for notifications) once this browser has an anonymous ID or account, and, only while you are signed in, your saved progress; images are never uploaded. An account is optional. No third-party analytics is used. Your language choice is also kept in a cookie, so pages open in your language; it holds only the language code and is not used for tracking.

For comfort, pause whenever you want. The contour is a face-landmark estimate, not a muscle map.
